As a writer, lecturer and keynote speaker, Joan Knutson, PMP, has earned a reputation as a project management thought-leader. Joan’s experience includes; founding and managing for more than 20 years, Project Mentors, Inc., a successful, multi-million dollar project management training and consulting firm. She has presented to thousands of people worldwide through her interactive seminars, keynote presentations, and state-of-the-art online learning programs.
Joan has designed and developed more than 20 seminars over her 30 years in the project management training business which she delivers to both corporations and public agencies. She delivers a variety of project management-related seminars through the American Management Association, the Project Management Institute and the Drug Information Association. Joan has designed, presented and facilitates virtual classrooms for both Villanova University and the Project Management Institute. She works with the University of San Francisco as an Adjunct Instructor and developer of their Masters of Science degree program in Project Management.
Joan is a long-time and active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), which recognized Joan as one of the 25 most influential women in project management. She wrote The Executive’s Notebook column in PM Network for over a decade. She is also a published author of several highly regarded books on project management; including her top-selling, “Succeeding in Project-Driven Organizations,” published by John Wiley & Sons.
