Requirements are the cornerstone of the product development process. Identify requirements correctly and you foster creativity. Identify them incorrectly, and you limit your development options.
This course utilizes the Dual Vee development model to demonstrate the impact of requirements throughout the product development lifecycle. The workshop approach uses your project and either reviews the requirements developed to date, or develops requirements based on the information gathered to date.

Using Requirements
A key premise in writing requirements is to understand the customers' wants and needs. The primary stakeholder of a commercial client is often internal marketing and or management. The process for gathering requirements in the public sector is therefore very different (working with stakeholders and gatekeepers) than the process for gathering requirements in the government sector where requirements are typically defined in the RFP.
PD Mentors courses are a blend of lecture, large group exercises and hands-on work. Our hands-on exercises are designed to reinforce concepts by using terminology from your industry.
